The Master of Arts in Human Services program is designed to offer human relations training to clergy and others in Christian ministry and/or organizational settings who desire counseling skills. Graduates of the program will be prepared to work in a variety of settings not requiring licensure.
Dr. Miller has been employed by Pfeiffer University for 65 years. She currently serves as the Dean for the Division of Applied Health Sciences. She is responsible for the management of the Departments of Health Administration Marriage and Family Therapy, Nursing, Health and Exercise Science, and Human Relations. She is a full Professor teaching required courses in the Center for Professional Advancements and the MHA program.

She comes to Pfeiffer from UNC Charlotte, where she taught a variety of business courses at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, and has private industry experience in bioinformatics and marketing.

This . focuses on health in communities within the context of culture, and in that sense is fairly unique (a word we don’t throw around lightly) among doctoral programs in Texas and the United States.
